Sony NEX-F3

Sony NEX-F3, Built-In Flash and Viewfinder EVF Fees

Sony continues briskly in promising avenue of mirrorless NEX. After the debut of the first two models, the Sony NEX-5 and NEX-3, came the Sony NEX-C3, entry-level in minimal space. More recently the excellent Sony NEX-5N and Sony NEX-7, the latter with a super built-in electronic viewfinder and a 24-megapixel sensor. The latest in the series is the Sony NEX-F3, entry-level successor to the C3, with interesting news. First, at least for us who do not like shooting with the camera hanging there in front of framing with the LCD, you can install additional electronic viewfinder. Not a EVF any, plus, but those already available for the NEX-5N. A viewfinder that has a considerable price, you can not replace the viewfinder of an SLR but it offers, however, much better photographic experience. The LCD on the back has a diagonal of 3 inches and a resolution of 921,000 pixels. And 'articulated, but in a manner different from that of previous NEX. It can, in fact, tilt forward of 180 degrees (for self-portraits), but only 13 degrees downwards. Another new design of the machine body of mirrorless, which reflects that of the NEX-7 offering better grip. Something you pay in terms of size compared to the NEX-C3, but it's worth it. The APS-C CMOS Exmor sensor used on this machine has a resolution of 16.1 megapixel (Sony does not specify whether the same is mounted on the NEX-5N, really excellent, or a new model) coupled to a new version of the Bionz image processor that promises even greater responsiveness and an even more disturbing content. The Sony NEX-F3 can take up to a speed of 5.5 frames per second and offers a range of sensitivity between ISO 200 and 16,000. Among the changes, the presence of a built-in flash (size 6) very similar to the one offering the NEX-7. Disappears as the mini flash that it was necessary to take along with previous models. Among the features: - Focus Peaking - which makes it much easier to focus with so many objectives that can be used with the NEX thanks to adapters - Superior Car - Auto Portrait Framing - Sweep Panorama - Clear Image Zoom - Video recording Full HD 1080/60i or 1080/24p, with stereo sound from a microphone, the optional external stereo The Alpha NEX-F3 accepts lenses designed for E-mount (the conversion factor for the optics is 1.5 x), as well as the objectives Sony Alpha, via adapter. The memories are of the type compatible Memory Stick Pro Duo and SD / SDHC / SDXC. The declared autonomy is about 470 shots per charge with the battery pack NP-FW50 (the gain from the previous NEX-C3 is 18%). The price of the Sony NEX-F3, available in silver, black and white, is $ 600 for the kit with the standard zoom from 18 to 55 mm. First deliveries to stores in July.
