Olympus Tough TG-820 iHS Shock & Waterproof Digital Camera
It has a backlit 12-megapixel CMOS sensor, coupled to the image processor TruePic VI, the new Olympus TG-820 IHS, pocket digital camera capable of diving to a depth of 10 meters and shoot Full HD underwater.
The machine (successor to the Olympus TG810, presented a year ago) has a particularly strong body, which allows it to withstand drops from a height of up to 2 meters, or a pressure of 100 kg and resist freezing down to -10 degrees.
The 5x zoom is equivalent to a 28 to 140 mm, f/3.9-5.9. The stabilizer is mechanical: it acts directly on the sensor to compensate for camera shake and reduce the risk of image blur in the photos.
On the back there is a 3-inch LCD display with high resolution: 1.03 million points.
The Olympus TG-820 IHS is an automatic camera, with a note how "smart" Olympus Intelligent Auto.
Among the features of the new car "rugged", the Super Resolution feature, which allows to double the zoom with a loss of quality contained (well, at least, ensures Olympus). Also new is the HDR Backlight Adjustment.
The shooting speed of up to 5 pictures per second at maximum resolution.
And 'possobile record Full HD video with mono sound.
Compatible memory cards SD / SDHC / SDXC, powered by a rechargeable lithium battery with a range of about 220 shots per charge, the Olympus TG-820 IHS has a list price around 270 euros. First deliveries to stores in March.
