Samsung NX20, NX210, NX1000: Industry's First Wi-Fi Mirrorless

After the endless series of rumors that appear on the network for several months, Samsung has officially unveiled three new series of cameras mirrorless 'NX'. Three models for all tastes: the Samsung NX20, with a design similar to that of a digital SLR, the most compact Samsung NX210 and, finally, the Samsung NX1000, even smaller and simpler, but still with important technical features.

The main new feature, common to all three mirrorless, is the Wi-Fi capability, allowing you to easily share pictures online, or to transfer it quickly to a smartphone or another compatible device (HDTV, PC).
And 'possible to send photos directly from the camera, by e-mail, as well as upload them to a social network or a service' cloud hosting '. Through the dedicated Android application, you can also control the machine remotely.

The three have in common mirrorless the new CMOS sensor 20.3 megapixel, APS-C. The conversion factor for the targets is 1.5 x (a "normal" 50mm equivalent to 75mm).
Designed by its Korean home, offers a maximum sensitivity of ISO 12,800.
The machines can operate in automatic mode with advanced Smart car, but offer all the manual controls and recording of RAW photos.
All three cameras can shoot at speeds up to 8 frames per second, for a maximum of 11 shots.
And 'possible to record Full HD 1080/30p video with stereo audio, H.264 compression and manual controls available during recording.

Samsung NX20

The Samsung NX20 is the most rich and versatile. It offers a comfortable grip, like controls of an SLR and an electronic viewfinder integrated with SVGA resolution (800 x 600 pixels). The display, 3-inch AMOLED Clear type, is adjustable and has a resolution of 614,000 pixels.
Heir to the Samsung NX11, NX20 has a new faster shutter (up to 1/8000 second 1/4.000 against the other two models), built-in flash and a battery BP1310, rechargeable lithium, with a range of about 360 shots per charge.
The Samsung NX20 is sold as a kit with zoom from 18 to 55 mm OIS (stabilized) at a price around 850 euros. Will be in stores before the end of May.

Samsung NX210

The Samsung NX210 is the successor to the Samsung NX200, with respect to which, 20-megapixel sensor and Wi-Fi hand, offers little new, nor in the design of the camera body, is a mirrorless (interchangeable lens camera with no mirror) robust (metal body), yet compact and lightweight, with a 3-inch AMOLED (614,000 pixel resolution). There is no built-in electronic viewfinder, but you can mount the optional extra available among the NX series.

Samsung NX1000

The smallest of the trio is the Samsung NX1000, clearly intended, at least in the planner, to those who, loyal to the size of a compact, want something more in terms of image quality (in fact "much more", in particular when shooting in low light conditions) but without renouncing to the compact. Miniaturization has eliminated the built-in flash. In the box, however, a small flash aggiuntiv

the LCD display (no AMOLED) is always to 3 inches with a resolution of 921,000 dots.
The range is about 320 shots per charge.
The weight is really content: 350 grams for the camera body (with memory and battery included) plus standard zoom. The colors available are black, white and pink. The Samsung NX100 comes in June with the kit zoom 20-50 mm OIS.
